About mice: A mutation results when the nucleus copies its chromosomes incorrectly.
If copied incorrectly, how can mutations provide additional information added to the DNA stucture? Wouldn't it just harm the DNA and cause it to lose info?
Mutation was mentioned in the mouse article and therefore got me off into a schpeel about mutations.
Interesting thought, Bethany. Are you sure that's how you spell "schpeel"?
