Some Sad News

I know I've been disappointed with the low horsepower and lack of options for the Acura RSX, but this isn't quite the solution I had in mind.

On the plus side, this means I may own a classic. And it's still the best-looking car under $25K.

Yes, there's always a positive side to things, isn't there? You have a nice looking car, soon to be classic. How cool is that?

That's pretty cool I'd say!

Acura says it's because sales are down 10% this year, but I think it has very little to do with sales and more about positioning the Acura brand. No other luxury brand sells any new car for less than $30K, and it isn't good for a luxury brand to do battle with non-luxury brands. Too bad, because with the addition of a couple key features, sales of the RSX could rebound next year. One of those features would be the iPod-ready audio system that's available in every other Acura. The other would be 20-40 more hp, to really take advantage of the very capable 4-cylinder.
